Last summer I was one of the seven teachers from the school who had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Britain. I attended a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) course at International House London in July. In my group there were ten teachers of different subjects from Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and Hungary. Our instructor, Vanessa White was an experienced teacher trainer and we also had guest speakers e.g. about Special education needs and about Lexical approach. The course included interesting and useful topics like classroom techniques and activities, planning a lesson, adapting materials, methods of assessment.
Besides the lessons we spent much time together with sightseeing in London (e.g. Science Museum, British Museum, Houses of Parliament, Globe and Greenwich) and made one day trips at the weekends to unforgettable places like Canterbury, Leeds Castle, Windsor, Bath, Stonehenge, Cambridge and Oxford.
Thanks to Erasmus+ for the amazing two weeks!
