Oxford

This summer nine teachers from our school had the opportunity to study in Britain. In July I spent an amazing week in Oxford studying CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) at Lake School. In my group there were thirteen teachers of different subjects from Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Czech Republic and Hungary. Our instructor, Freia Layfield was an enthusiastic, motivating and very creative teacher trainer who introduced us a lot of new classroom techniques, group activities and good practices. The international environment was very inspiring and gave us a chance to get to know different education systems and make friends around Europe.

One of the most unforgettable experiences was a visit to a local state school where we got a short introduction to the English education system, the school environment and facilities. Of course, we had time for some guided sightseeing together in Oxford (e.g. Ashmolean Museum, Christ Church College) and Saturday I discovered Stratford-upon-Avon as well.

Thanks to Erasmus+ for the great experience!
